This 1-day course will be held in Manchester City Centre
Timings: 09:30 am - 16:30 pm

This course provides a good insight into the procedures and basic life support skills needed to help those who may come across an emergency situation.

If a fully qualified First Aider is not required, an employer must still appoint a person to take charge of first aid provision and know how to respond in an emergency.

This workshop covers:

  • Incident and casualty management
  • Cases of unconsciousness
  • Dealing with an unconscious person
  • P.R. (including babies and children)
  • Choking
  • Wounds and bleeding
  • Burns
  • Contents of a first aid kit

What will I achieve?

The Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid is regulated in England by the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual) and is part of the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF). It is supported by the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) and Skills for Health.

This qualification can be taken as a free-standing award or as part of a wider programme of training.
